AirSuite™ Sense sensors are intelligent devices that we originally designed to monitor the conditions in classrooms and early-childhood education (ECE) centres, following a successful trial programme with the New Zealand Ministry of Education. Since then, we’ve added more features to make them perfect for deploying in a number of other situations too, including in residential, aged care, and commercial environments.
Each device is packed with a powerful array of sensors that monitor all important environmental factors including thermal comfort, ventilation, lighting, and acoustics. AirSuite™ Sense sensors have a wireless connection to the Internet and provide a live feed of sensor data securely into the AirSuite Cloud.
AirSuite™ Sense LTE provides the most flexibility around how and where you can deploy your sensors, and eliminates the hassle and security challenges of managing your own Wi-Fi networks.
With 2 to 4 years of battery life* on the standard battery-powered model, AirSuite™ Sense LTE sensors are particularly suitable when you don’t have full control of the power or network connectivity at the property where they will be installed, or if you just want more flexibility over where you can put them. They can also be mains-powered from a standard USB power supply.
Sense LTE is now available worldwide, with our global LTE network partnerships enabling customers to use AirSuite LTE devices almost anywhere.
Curious about which network we use in your area, and what the coverage is like? Check our LTE Coverage Guide.
AirSuite™ Sense Wi-Fi is also available for customers requiring extremely high resolution data, such as for scientific modelling and reporting.

One add-on sensor can be added to each Sense LTE device. The add-on replaces the standard built-in battery, so devices containing an add-on must be mains-powered.
* Battery not included on devices configured with an add-on sensor. Battery life depends on the configured reporting interval, and cellular network conditions in your area. Battery-powered devices can be mains-powered but are not rechargeable. More Info

All AirSuite™ sensors are built to capture data at the highest possible resolution, ideal for scientific analysis, without sacrificing quality or battery life. The data can also be exported in summarised forms, so you can choose the most appropriate resolution for your analysis.
The interval between when each sensor measurement is taken. These measurements are available in real-time in the AirSuite Monitor App.
The frequency at which devices send measurements to the Cloud (time between new data appearing in the AirSuite Monitor Portal).
All AirSuite™ devices are designed to enterprise security standards, capable of receiving over-the-air (OTA) updates, and guaranteed to receive routine security and maintenance patches for at least 5 years. This allows us to remotely manage your devices even after they’ve been deployed throughout the country or around the world, and is made possible through our use of modern, high-bandwidth LTE-M networks.

We’ve been working with the New Zealand Ministry of Education since 2017 to help them better understand the quality of the learning environments in Aotearoa and the impacts of environmental conditions.
AirSuite™ data from thousands of sensors, reporting tools and insights are helping to reshape the way investment decisions are made and how building assets are managed. The Ministry of Education’s wealth of data and understanding are now driving the creation of environments that better support learning and wellbeing across the country.
